Becky Bonaventura

Owner / Coach

Over the last decade, Becky Bonaventura has gained a wide variety of experience in the field of athletic development. She has worked with youth, high school, college and adult athletes in one-on-one, small group, and team settings spanning the facility gamut from outdoor and minimalistic to state-of-the-art college weight rooms. She has worked with individuals and teams competing at the highest level of collegiate athletics, competitive on the conference, regional and national scene. 

Becky’s mission as a coach is to effectively communicate to those in her sphere of influence how capable and resilient they really are by helping them break down their goals into attainable steps in a way that builds them up and grows their confidence and future performance.

  • Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa)
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
  • Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist (FRCms) through Functional Range Systems.


 Education: 

  • Master of Professional Studies in Sport Management from St. John’s University
  • Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Waynesburg University

Smoak-Minnici

Coach

Kenna Smoak-Minnici has been in the field of Strength & Conditioning since 2008 continuously growing in roles and experience. Her settings range from directing Collegiate S&C departments, youth to pro athletes, Special Operations Tactical Athletes, powerlifters, bodybuilders, and prenatal/postpartum moms. She has spoken internationally with the ASCA Brisbane, Australia and at the CSCCa and NSCA national conferences. In 2024 she was the recipient of the NSCA Assistant Strength Coach of the Year.

Smoak-Minnici describes herself as a lifelong competitor with experience in strength sports professionally and running races for fun. Her experience in these she feels helps keep her mindset and drive sharp to better relate to individuals with high performance goals. She finds coaching most rewarding when she helps people realize that overcoming challenges during training builds resilience, which boosts their confidence in every area of life.

Lydia Bracken

Business & Marketing Assistant

Lydia began working as a physical therapist’s aide while still a teenager. She continued building a career in fitness by earning her degree in Kinesiology, teaching group fitness classes, becoming a personal trainer, and working as an exercise physiologist – programming exercise for gym clients and supervising small group exercise. She completed multiple certifications during this time such as AFFA – Group Fitness Instructor, Functional Movement Screen Certification L1&2 and ACSM – Certified Exercise Physiologist. 

While working with a physical therapy affiliated gym during its start-up phase of branching out into sports performance and lifestyle adult fitness, Lydia discovered her enjoyment of idea generation and business planning and growth. She started studying and leaning into roles that emphasized business concepts rather than fitness. Since leaving the fitness field seven years ago, Lydia has earned an HBX CORe Certificate in Financial Accounting, Economics for Managers and Business Analytics, completed the Community Business Academy with Good Enterprises and worked with a startup in Charleston, SC in many areas of their business planning and marketing. She joined Action Plan in February of 2025 and is excited to continue growing with the company, providing marketing assistance as well as supporting clients and coaches on the backend to have a seamless experience with Action Plan.

Lydia lives with her husband and four children in the delightful coastal warmth of Charleston, SC.
